The Path To Healing & Freedom
Feelings of frustration, fear, jealousy, even hopefulness, and excitement are feelings that we may hide and keep in but are things that we should let out.
There was a time in my life when I used to hold these emotions back because I was afraid to speak out, to express them.
But eventually, I had to learn or question these emotions:
What drives my fear?
What am I feeling under that fear?
Is it a lack of self-confidence, not believing in myself– is it fear of invalidation?
Determining what really is behind the fear of letting out and expressing emotions is a huge part of healing, a huge part of the solution.
Trying to hack through the surface emotions, the symptoms, without dealing with the root cause of the symptoms may make the wound fester and rot, but dealing with the real pain behind it head-on offers the best path to healing and freedom.
